The protection of your privacy as well as the protection of your personal data is important to us. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.
When you use this website, various personal data will be collected. Personal data are data with which you can be personally identified. Your data may be passed on to other third parties. Please refer to this data protection declaration for details.
Which data do we collect and for what purpose?
Access to the website, access to files
You can visit our website without giving any personal information.
When you visit our website and look at a single page, you retrieve individual files that make up this page. The retrieval of these files is stored in a log file (a simple text file), the so-called server log file, which contains the following information for each individual retrieval:
– The IP address of your computer that downloaded the file;
– Date and time of retrieval;
– Name of the file that was retrieved;
– Status of the transmission (successful or aborted);
– from which page the file was originally requested, and
– with which browser, operating system and which interface the file was requested.
This is a typical technical record that almost every web server makes.
We use this logging to detect and correct technical errors on our website and ultimately to improve the technical quality of our website. However, we will also use the data to detect misuse of our website and to prevent it in the future. In addition, we reserve the right to statistically evaluate anonymous data records of this log file in order to improve our website offer. The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO; our legitimate interests: Guarantee of the security and operation of the website, design of the website to meet requirements and prevention of misuse, investigation of criminal offences, unless exclusively for the fulfilment of legal requirements.
We will neither use the data stored in this log file for personal purposes nor merge it with other data sources.
The data recorded in the log file will be deleted after 4 weeks at the latest.
Data security on the Internet
We take all necessary technical and organisational security measures to store your personal data in such a way that they are neither accessible to third parties nor to the public. If you wish to contact us by e-mail, please note that the confidentiality of the transmitted information cannot be completely guaranteed by this means of communication. We therefore recommend that you only send us confidential information by post.
Some of our website use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies, which are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions desired by you, are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. As far as other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behaviour) are stored, these will be treated separately in this data protection declaration.
If you send us enquiries using the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you have provided there, will be saved for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form is thus processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail. The legality of the data processing procedures carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete, your consent for storage revoked or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
These are your rights
You have a right to information about the personal data stored about you and, if the legal requirements are met, a right to correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of these data. You can also object to the processing of your data. In addition, you have the right to complain about our processing of personal data to a supervisory authority for data protection (e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony).
Upon your request, we will provide you with the data you have provided to us in a machine-readable format if we process this data automatically ourselves and this is done on the basis of your consent or in order to fulfil a contract with you.
You can revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time. However, this does not affect the legality of the processing until revocation.
